                               THE BIG RACKET (1976)
A district in the city of Rome is terrorised by a ruthless gang of racketeers. By beatings, arson and rape they force the owners of shops and restaurants to pay them money for "protection". Police Inspector Nico Palmieri (Fabio Testi)  wages his own war against these criminals but is not supported by his superiors. After Palmieri is fired, he gathers a vigilante force to take down the hoodlums. Also starring Vincent Gardenia, The Big Racket was banned in the UK for decades due to its graphic violence.
