Eurocrime (1973)
A man slips into a private screening room where pornographic films are being screeded for a group of high-ranking mobsters. He uses a grenade launcher to massacre the entire group and reports the new to his boss, Don Daniello. A Mafia gang has been almost totally exterminated by one man, Lanzetta (Henry Silva).
When Daniello and Lanzetta meet with Don Carrasco (Richard Conte, The Godfather), they learn that almost isn't good enough. The surviving members of the enemy gang have kidnapped Daniello's daughter and propse a trade. Thus, a harrowing nightmare begins. Further complcations arise when too many deaths and too much violence from the rival gangs force the Polizia to begin an investigation. Desperately, loyalties cross and double-cross as each man struggles to stay alive. Directed by Fernando Di Leo, The Boss is the final installment in his Milieu Trilogy (Milano Calibre 9, The Italian Connection).
